You just answer these three questions:
What did you finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What are you planning to read next?
What did I finish reading?
The Boleyn King (The Boleyn Trilogy #1) by Laura Andersen 5/5 (review)
An outstanding alternative historical fiction that asks us, “What if Anne Boleyn had given birth to a son?”
The Dead Shall Not Rest (Dr. Thomas Silkstone #2) by Tessa Harris 5/5 (review)
Yet another wonderful historical fiction with a bit of truth in it, The Dead Shall Not Rest follows Thomas Silkstone on a gruesome adventure of murder, grave robbers, body snatchers and vile humanity.
What am I currently reading?
Taken (Taken #1) by Erin Bowman
I’m only at chapter 4 (8% through) so the only thing that has happened so far is Gray’s brother turning eighteen and being taken by the Heist. It started off a bit odd, as not much was explained, but I’m understanding things a bit more. I don’t like how negative the main character, Gray, is and how he’s always down on himself but I’m hoping that there’s a reason for this constant nagging, or that something great will come out of it. It’s an easy read, and I’m enjoying it more and more as I go on.
Radiant (Unearthly #2.5) by Cynthia Hand
10% through. I’ve already read the main books to this trilogy a while ago, but for some reason I missed out on this. It might further explain, or make sense out of Boundless, but I’m just reading it to say I’ve read everything in the series. :)
What I plan on reading next?
Ruby Red (Ruby Red Trilogy #1) by Kerstin Gier
This is due back at the library soon and I’d rather not renew it for a third time, just in case someone else might want to read it before the third book is out.
Arclight (Arclight #1) by Josin L. McQuin
This is due back at the end of the month, and like Taken, is not eligible for renewal since there is a waiting list.
A Dark Mind (Lizzy Gardner #3) by T.R. Ragan
The next Netgalley book that will be published soon… I JUST NOW REALIZED THAT IT IS IN A SERIES! I don’t recall seeing that on Netgalley, but after doing a search on goodreads I find that it is indeed in a series. Will I have time to search out and read the first two? We shall see!

AUTHOR BIO
Heidi Acosta was born on Long Island, New York. Moving around a lot when she was younger, she has lived in New York, Arizona, New York (again), Washington, Georgia, and Florida, in that order. Each place offered her something special, but she will always consider New York her home.
Heidi started writing as soon as she could spell. When she was three, Heidi’s mother gave her a copy of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House in the Big Woods; thus beginning her lifelong love affair with literature.
Writing soon also became a form of therapy for Heidi, when she realized that no matter what was happening in her life, she could find emotional escape while writing. Some of her earliest stories featured her as a princess who explored new worlds with her horse Buttercup. If it sounds romantic, it wasn’t, there was no prince charming in those fairy lands (boys where yucky).
Heidi now resides in Florida with her husband, very active daughter, one hyper Chihuahua, two sweet cats, and one very fat moody cat.
